T&T Cabinet Shop History
T&T Cabinet Shop has been in operation since 1955, serving the
Charlotte/Monroe area and beyond. Cabinets have been designed, built, and
installed from the coast to the mountains and points in between.
The
shop
was started by Sherley Tarlton with his father, Zenas Tarlton. T&T is currently owned by his sister, Delories Tarlton McQuay.
She has worked for
T&T Cabinet Shop for 45 years, owning the shop for 26 of those years.
Delories heads the design department.

Craftsmanship always starts with a true craftsman. Sherley Benson Tarlton
learned the trade working with his Grandpa Shug Baucom as a young man in a
small cabinet shop on Commonwealth Ave, in Charlotte, NC. Sherley added to
this knowledge taking shop at Matthews High School in Matthews, NC. |
